This free afternoon concert at Rideau Hall features two of Canada's finest brass ensembles, True North Brass and the Rideau Lakes Brass Quintet (Karen Donnelly and John Ellis, trumpets; Jill Kirwan, horn; Donald Renshaw, trombone; Nick Atkinson, tuba). The quintets will perform selections from their own repertoires, and unite to play music by J.S. Bach, Samuel Scheidt, Scott Irvine, Howard Cable, and Chris Dedrick. This concert is one of TNB's three performances at the Ottawa Chamber Music Festival.
